Water Balloon Drop!

On our first day in Year 5 children challenged themselves to protect a water balloon dropped from the second floor!

Working in teams of 3 or 4, Team Pressley and Team Godwin were tasked with protecting a water balloon. Using paper, newspaper, glue, cello tape and string and wool, the children made parachutes or protective contraptions before Mrs Alfred dropped them out of the music room window. The children were fantastic and really rose to the challenge - surprisingly, the majority of the water balloons survived!

Well done year 5 😁
