Team Piper Love Messy Play Outdoors!

Splash, squelch, splodge, learning gets messy!
Team Piper have absolutely loved playing outside today! We explored with our tuff trays, wore our aprons, and when the weather turned really wet, we popped on our puddle suits and wellies. The children enjoyed splashing, digging, mixing and creating – and it was gloriously messy!
If you haven’t already, please do send in a named pair of wellies and a puddle suit, so your child can fully join in no matter the weather. A spare set of clothes is also really helpful, sometimes the exploring is just so much fun that we still get wet!
Messy play is more than just fun – it’s an important part of learning. Through messy exploring, children build confidence, imagination, problem-solving and early science skills as they mix, pour and discover new textures. Playing outside in all weathers helps children develop resilience and a love of the natural world, while giving them the chance to run, jump and splash in the fresh air.
Come rain or shine, Team Piper are ready to embrace it all, and we can’t wait for even more outdoor adventures together! 🌧️☀️🍂
