🏠❤️ Our Families in Our Homes ❤️🏠

This week in Reception, we’ve been talking all about where we live and who we live with. The children had wonderful conversations about the different types of homes we have — from houses with stairs, to cosy bungalows, high-up flats, and even caravans!

We thought about what makes each home special and who lives there with us. Then, we looked at Mrs Cole’s family and talked about the people in our own homes — mums, dads, brothers, sisters, pets, grandparents… every family is unique!

To finish, we got creative! Using buttons, sticks, glue and lots of imagination, the children built their very own family inside a house. Each creation was as special and individual as the children themselves.

A lovely way to celebrate our families and the places we call home. 🏡💕
