Goldfish Detectives! 🐠

Today in our Power of Reading lesson, Team Piper became Goldfish Detectives! We were on a mission to listen carefully and collect amazing facts all about goldfish. Using our detective ears, we listened closely as Mrs Piper read and put our hands on our heads every time we heard a fact to add to our fact wall!

We learned that a fact is when we get information — something that is true and can teach us something new.

Some of our favourite facts were:
💬 “Goldfish don’t have eyelids.”
💬 “They sleep with their eyes open!”

It was wonderful to see everyone listening so carefully, spotting new facts, and becoming confident little detectives!
