Welcome to Term 2 - Team Hayzelden

Welcome back to school! I can't believe that it is already Term 2!

This term our arts timetable is changing:

Monday: Music and Art

Tuesday: PE and Musical Theatre

Wednesday: Art Choices 

Thursday: Computing and PE

Therefore, children will need their PE kits on Tuesday and Thursday, and Wednesday too if one of their choices are PE, Dance, Ballet or Musical Theatre. We will be sending home slips with everyone's new choices today so you know ahead of tomorrow. 

We have lots of things going on this term, please find a list below:

Wednesday 29th and Thursday 30th October - Parents Evenings (please speak to me or the office if you haven't been able to book an appointment and we can help)

Friday 31st October 3:15-4:30 - KS2 Disco

2nd December 8:45 - Team Hayzelden Library Trip (we would be very grateful if you are available to come along and help, if you are able to help please let me know as soon as possible)

Wednesday 3rd December 3:00 - KS2 Christmas Sing  Along on the Playground

Monday 15th December 9:00 - Year 3 and 4 Christmas Performance 

Thursday 18th December 9:30 - KS2 Pantomime at St Lawrence College 

Thursday 18th December 2:00 - End of Term 2

We will continue to update the blog to keep you updated throughout the term. 

A couple of reminders:

- Please can children bring two healthy snacks to school each day (fruit, crackers, cereal bar, etc) to have during their break times. Children are not allowed crisps as snacks at break time.

-Children should be reading four times a week with an adult. Spellings will be sent home every Friday and should be returned completed the following week.
