Jacob's Tron review!

Directed by: Joachim Rønning           Starring: Jared Letto as Ares, Jeff Bridges as Kevin Flynn, Evan Peters as Julian Dillenger, Gillian Anderson as Elisabeth Dillenger (Julian’s mother), Jodie Turner-Smith as Athena and Greta Lee as Eve Kim 

The Plot: Encom and Dillenger are two rival companies trying to get the permanence code.  After struggling Dillenger make Ares and Athena two humanoid AIs that are incredibly strong, lightning fast and supremely intelligent. These AI programs have one purpose to hunt down Eve Kim (the holder of the permanence code) so they can last 29 minutes without crumbling into dust and surviving outside the grid.  

Length of film: 1 hour and 59 minutes  

Genre: science fiction adventure and action  

Jacob Rating: This was so good it was better than Flow and puts the Wild Robot (my favourite film ever) on thin ice! Instant 10/10 plus! Even better in 3D 

Fact: To celebrate its release, Tron Light cycle run at Walt Disney World got a temporary retheme turning all the blue lights into red lights! Ares and Athena’s main colour.
