RWI update....Team Cole

You will have been sent a Pathway link on MCAS from Mrs Childwick-Day. This link includes your child’s personal learning gaps and video lessons for them to watch at home.

All children progress at their own pace, so it might be that they haven’t moved up just yet. Please continue completing any sheets your child brings home, and if they have started taking a sound-blending book home, please make sure to write in their reading record each time you read together. It’s also really helpful to note down any sounds or words your child finds tricky.

We are also focusing a lot on fluency – helping children to read more smoothly, with expression, and without needing to sound out every single word.
