Who said romance was dead?

This term, our core text is 'The Highwayman' - with the main theme being the love between the protagonist and Bess - a landlord's daughter...

In English, we have read The Highwayman by Alfred Noyes, which is a poem about a Highwayman and the landlord's red-lipped daughter Bess. They fall in LOVE, so we have been writing a love letter as either Bess or the Highwayman.

We used similes and metaphors and descriptive language. The letter is informal so we could use contractions. This blog was written by Erin, Pearl, Esme and ANNIE.
