The Three Little Pigs 🐷

Huff and Puff!

This week, we explored the story of The Three Little Pigs! The children loved joining in with the story, using actions and voices to bring the characters to life.

We took part in lots of fun, hands-on activities to help us learn and play:

  • Pig playdough – we rolled, squashed, and shaped our own pigs, developing our fine motor skills.

  • Walking through the pigs’ village – we used our imagination to pretend we were the wolves huffing and puffing through the houses!

  • Story sequencing – we practised retelling the story in the right order, helping us understand beginnings, middles, and endings.

  • Size ordering pigs – we compared big, medium, and small pigs to learn about size and order.

  • Cleaning the pigs – we had fun washing muddy pigs, developing our sensory play and understanding of caring for animals.

The children showed fantastic storytelling, creativity, and imagination throughout the week. What brilliant little pigs (and wolves!) we’ve been! 🐷💨
