Team Piper Learn About Remembrance Day...

Today, Team Piper learned all about Remembrance Day. We watched the live service from London together and joined in so beautifully, sitting quietly and respectfully during the two-minute silence. The children were so thoughtful as we talked about the importance of remembering the brave people who have helped to keep us safe.

In class, we explored the symbol of the poppy in lots of creative ways. The children wound up their own poppies, made poppies with loose parts, made poppy playdough creations, and explored poppy-themed tuff trays outside.

We are so proud of how respectful and engaged Team Piper were during this special day of reflection and learning.
