Human Circuits!
A fun, hands-on way to make science come alive!
Today, the children explored how a switch works in an electrical circuit by becoming part of a human circuit! Everyone joined hands to make a complete loop, then passed a hoop around the circle without letting go. When one person let go to “open” the circuit, the hoop couldn’t move—just like when a switch turns the power off. Through this playful activity, the children learned that a switch controls whether electricity can flow by opening or closing the circuit.
