Road Sweeper

Today we were very lucky to take part in a special workshop run by Thanet District Council, all about naming a brand-new road sweeper for Ramsgate!

We began by taking a close look at a real road sweeper, exploring how it works and learning why it’s so important for keeping our town clean. After that, we got to work creating our own imaginative names and logo designs. Everyone came up with fantastic ideas!

As a class, we voted for our favourites, and these entries will now go forward into the official competition, where the public will choose the winning name.

Keep an eye out over the coming months—you might spot the newly named road sweeper out and about in Ramsgate!
