Creating comics
Having read the ending of 'The Highwayman', we have set about turning it into a comic...
Once they had retold the story to their partner, to refresh their memory of the storyline, the children got into groups and selected the twelve most important scenes to tell the story, before turning them into freeze frames.
Over the last few lessons, we have written captions and speech bubbles for these scenes. Next week, we will begin to assemble them!
