Christmas has started!

Christmas Tree Decorating
The children used peg boards to create their own Christmas tree-style patterns, carefully placing the pegs to form shapes, lines, and decorations. This activity supported the development of their fine motor skills, including finger strength, hand–eye coordination, and precise control.
As they arranged the pegs, children talked about colours, counted how many pegs they needed, and planned where each part of the tree should go. Some children experimented with repeating patterns and symmetrical designs, showing early mathematical thinking.
This festive activity encouraged concentration, creativity, and independence while strengthening the physical skills needed for early writing.
