Stone Age Day - Team Hayzelden

Team Hayzelden had a fantastic day for Stone Age Day yesterday!

We began the day by reading the book "Stone Age Boy" to learn about life during the Stone Age. We then created charcoal drawings of Stone Age animals.

After break, we learnt about Stone Henge and used biscuits and icing to build our own versions of this. We also became archaeologists and dug through 'fossil dust' and 'soil' to find ancient Stone Age artefacts and fossils!

Finally, we used fruit and vegetables to create our own cave paintings!
