Finding a Balance

The children explored the idea of balance by using balance scales to find the same amount on each side. They carefully added and removed objects, watching how the scales tipped and moved, and made thoughtful predictions about what might happen next. Through trial and error, they learned that both sides need to be equal to balance, developing their understanding of weight, comparison, and problem-solving. The children were highly engaged, worked collaboratively, and showed great concentration as they experimented and celebrated when they finally found the perfect balance. ⚖️✨
