Kicking Off STEAM Week with Reception Number Day 🔢

We have started our STEAM Week in a very exciting way with a Reception Number Day. Team Piper had a brilliant morning full of fun, curiosity and number magic.

With Mrs Piper, the children took part in a cheeky activity involving a magic number box. The children had to think carefully about how the numbers were changing and explain what might have happened to the number. There were lots of great ideas, problem solving and mathematical thinking.

The children also enjoyed an activity with Mrs Cole, where they played some fun number games. These games helped the children practise their counting, number recognition and early number skills in a really engaging way.

We loved starting STEAM Week with this Number Morning and the children were so enthusiastic and excited to learn.
