Maths you can eat! Today we compared long and short breadsticks.
The children explored the words long and short during snack time by breaking their breadsticks and comparing the pieces. They talked about which breadstick was longer and which was shorter. After this, the children explored their environment, finding different objects to compare. They carefully remembered to line the objects up at the same starting point so they could see which was longer or shorter. What fantastic measuring skills!
