Mother’s Day Creations 💐

Today the children enjoyed creating some very special Mother’s Day cards. They worked carefully to decorate them and talk about the important people in their lives who help to look after them.

While making the cards, the children shared ideas about who they wanted to give them to and spoke about why those people are special to them. It was lovely to hear their thoughtful ideas and see how proud they were of the cards they created.

Activities like this support children’s communication and language skills as they talk about their ideas, as well as developing fine motor control through cutting, colouring and decorating.
