Animal detectives! 🐾

Today, our fantastic EYFS learners continued exploring how we grow and change! 🌱

We began by thinking about ourselves and how we have changed from babies into the amazing children we are today. Then, we turned our attention to animals and started to notice how they change as they grow. 🐾

The children became brilliant observers, looking closely and thinking carefully:
What changes can we see? 👀
Do they look the same or different? How?

We noticed that many baby animals look similar to their adult forms, but there are still some important differences. The children spotted that animals can grow bigger, stronger, and sometimes change in colour or develop new features like fur or feathers.

There were some fantastic discussions, with children using their words to describe what they could see and sharing their ideas with confidence.

We are very excited for tomorrow, when we will explore animals that change even more in surprising ways! 🐛✨
