Our trip to Quex!!

This term, Year 1 will be studying the topic ‘Animals and Us’ where we will be exploring the features of different animals, learning about the different animal groups and how we are different from animals. To enhance this learning, we will be taking the children to the Powell-Cotton Museum on Thursday 14th May . This will be an exciting trip to bring their learning to life. 

Full school uniform must be worn and suitable shoes for walking. Please send your child in with a sun hat and waterproof coat as we will be visiting the beautiful gardens during our visit too. The trip will take place within normal school hours, so please ensure your child is at school by 8:30am and collected at 3pm. If we are running late the school will keep you informed.  A Free School Packed Lunch will be provided by the school, although you are of course welcome to send them with a home packed lunch. Please ensure they have a water bottle in school for the day too.
