Art to Start - Sound

Our first topic this term is Sound. Today, we talked about what sound waves and how they are often represented. We learnt that they are often visualised through animations where the sound wave moves up and down based on the loudness, pitch and wavelength. We then listened to a piece of orchestral music and visualised what the sound wave might look like. Using chalk pastels, we represented this on black card.
