Pattern Power!

Today in maths, we carried on our learning about patterns. We used objects to copy and continue AAB repeating patterns, such as red, red, blue, red, red, blue. The children practised spotting the pattern, saying it out loud and checking that it repeated correctly.

Why not try this at home? You could make a pattern using toys, buttons, pasta shapes or colours. Can your child copy it and then continue it?
