Proud Pet Potato Owners!

We are now the very proud owners of our own pet potatoes! Inspired by our book The Pet Potato by Josh Lacey, we were each gifted a pet potato, just like Albert in the story!

At first, we were a little confused… how can a potato be a pet?! But soon we used our imaginations and began to personify our potatoes, giving them their own personalities, names and special characteristics. Some potatoes are silly, some are adventurous, and some are very kind!

It has been so much fun bringing our story to life and thinking creatively about what our pet potatoes might like, how they might feel, and what adventures they could go on. We can’t wait to share more about our new potato friends!
