Computing - musical patterns, notes and tempo

This week we used a different format to create patterns, changing the tempo and musical instrument as desired. The children experimented with the tempo to see how the changing speed affected our feelings towards the music - the fast music felt very upbeat and jolly whereas the slow music felt darker and a bit spooky at times. The children enjoyed comparing their music and seeing how the patterns created the sound.
