Poetry Slam!
As the end of term approaches, we are looking forward to some of the children performing in our Poetry Performance on Friday 22nd May.
Ahead of this event, we will be holding an in-class poetry slam on the afternoon of Wednesday 20th May.
Children have been and will continue to be writing their own poems during our English lessons. If they would like to, they will then have the opportunity to perform their poems in class during our poetry slam, and a selection of pupils will then be chosen to represent their class at the final performance on Friday.
Parents and carers of the selected children will be contacted directly to let them know that they are welcome to join us at the Poetry Performance.
We are very excited to celebrate the children’s creativity, confidence, and speaking skills!
