Forest School Fun! Team Piper
Today, we went to our Forest School for the very first time!
We had a short walk over to the local community copse, where our Forest School session was led by Mrs Barnes. When we arrived, we talked about how to keep ourselves safe at Forest School. The children listened really carefully and I am sure they can tell you all about the rules!
After that, we had lots of time to explore the copse. We loved running around, going on a bear hunt and trying to find the Gruffalo hiding in the woods. The children also enjoyed doing some drawings, playing in the mud kitchen and making all sorts of muddy creations. I was even made a lovely iced coffee with extra mud!
To finish our session, we had some hot chocolate and biscuits together.
We had such a lovely first Forest School session and we cannot wait to go again next week. We will be going every Tuesday this term.
