Person of the Day...
In Team Piper, Person of the Day is a special part of our daily routine and something the children know well.
It is a lovely way to help every child feel special, valued and celebrated in our class. Person of the Day is picked randomly, so everyone will get a turn! :) It is not about being the “best” or having a perfect day.
The Person of the Day gets some special jobs and choices throughout the day. This might include being the head of the line, helping with small classroom jobs, and having the first choice for some things, such as choosing which book we read together. It is also a helpful way to avoid arguments about who is first in the line, as everyone knows it is the Person of the Day’s special job!
We love seeing the children feel proud, confident and excited when it is their turn.
