A Special Visit from PC Barnes!
Learning about real-life heroes in our community...
As part of our topic, People, Heroes and the World, Team Piper have been learning all about heroes in our community. One of the community heroes we have been learning about is the police.
We talked about the important job police officers do and how they help to keep people safe. We were then very lucky to have a visit from PC Barnes and his police dog, who came in to speak to us about how they help people in the community.
The children loved learning more about the police and asking questions about the important work they do.
