Can You See the Pattern?

Perfect Patterns!
This week the children have been learning all about repeated patterns.
We explored patterns using colours, shapes and objects, and the children had a go at spotting what came next. Some of us made simple patterns, while others challenged themselves to create even longer patterns.
The children were brilliant at explaining their patterns and checking if they repeated again and again!
You can try this at home by making simple patterns with everyday objects, such as fork, spoon, fork, spoon… or red sock, blue sock, red sock, blue sock. You could also spot patterns when you are out and about, like on clothes, tiles, wrapping paper or buildings.
