📚 Power of Reading – The Runaway Chapatti 🍽️

In our Power of Reading sessions this week, we have been exploring the story “The Runaway Chapatti.” To bring the story to life, the children had the exciting opportunity to taste a real chapatti!

Before tasting, we talked about:
🥙 What a chapatti is – a type of flatbread made from flour and water.
🌍 Where it originates from – chapattis come from South Asia.

The children then used their senses to describe what it tasted like, thinking about words such as soft, warm, chewy, plain, or delicious. This sensory experience helped deepen their understanding of the story and build rich vocabulary.

Everyone enjoyed trying something new and learning more about the culture behind the food in our story. 🌟
