Great Maths Learning in Team Cole 🔢⭐

Today Team Cole enjoyed a great maths lesson focusing on adding one more to the numbers 6, 7 and 8.

The children used practical resources to build each number and then carefully added one more. They showed good counting skills, focused listening and thoughtful use of the equipment. It was lovely to see the children checking their amounts and explaining what they noticed as the number changed.

The children worked confidently with the numbers and showed a growing understanding of how adding one more makes the number increase by one. We were really pleased with the effort and enthusiasm shown throughout the lesson.
