Brushes at the Ready!

Table Turned Into an Easel!
Team Piper loved our painting activity today. We wrapped a table in bubble wrap and the children lay underneath to paint on the “ceiling.” They used paintbrushes and cotton buds to make their marks.
This activity was great fun and also helped the children build their arm and shoulder strength, practise their fine motor skills, and explore being creative in a different way. Fine motor skills are really important for young children as they support handwriting, self-care tasks like doing up buttons and zips, and give them the control they need for lots of everyday activities.
