Talking, predicting, and thinking like mathematicians!
Today in Team Piper, we explored comparing capacities, finding out which containers could hold more or less!
We began by looking carefully at different containers and objects. The children made some brilliant predictions about which ones they thought would hold the item. We talked about why they thought that — “It’s taller,” “It’s wider,” or “That one’s tiny so it won’t fit!”.
It’s been another fun and busy day of hands-on maths in Team Piper! ✨
