Bringing Our Reading Corner Home!

This term, we’re encouraging Team Piper to take a book from our class book corner home to share with their grown-ups. 💫

These stories are perfect for cosy moments together, maybe at bedtime, snuggled up on the sofa, or during a quiet weekend morning. Children can choose a new book whenever they like, so there will always be something fresh and exciting to enjoy!

We just ask that families help us look after these books carefully so they can be shared and loved by everyone in Team Piper. Please make sure they come back once you’ve finished reading them.

Here are some lovely questions you can ask while reading together to help build your child’s understanding and curiosity:

🌟 Who was your favourite character and why?
🌟 How did the story make you feel?
🌟 Can you tell me what happened at the beginning, middle and end?
🌟 Did anything in the story remind you of something in real life?

Reading together helps children develop not only their language and imagination, but also their confidence and love for stories. ❤️
