STEAM Week: Using Bee Bots in Team Piper...

Today for STEAM Week the children used Bee Bots. They had lots of fun pressing the buttons and watching the Bee Bot move around the mat.

This activity was a great introduction to STEM learning too. The children had to think about where the Bee Bot should go and plan the steps needed to get there. They tried different ideas, talked with their friends and had another go if it did not work the first time.

There was lots of teamwork, problem solving and talking through ideas — all important parts of science, technology, engineering and maths. The children showed great listening, cooperation and confidence. They really enjoyed today’s activity and were very proud of themselves.
