STEAM Week: Making Music with Technology...

Next, as part of STEAM Week, we were very lucky to welcome Yuri Suzuki into Reception for an exciting augmented reality music workshop.

The children used cardboard instruments and when these were picked up by the camera on a phone, they suddenly became instruments that could be played digitally. The children loved experimenting with the sounds and seeing how technology can turn everyday objects into music.

We are so grateful to Yuri, who is a parent from our very own Team Piper, for leading such a brilliant workshop that linked perfectly with our STEAM learning.
