Comparing Groups in Maths

In maths today we looked at comparing two groups. The children chose a domino, identified each part and explained what they could see. For example, 6 is a part, 1 is a part, the whole is 7.

After finding the parts and whole, the children then “parked” their domino in the correct number space. This helped them practise recognising numbers and understanding how they are made.
