Team Piper: Learning in the Sunshine!

The children have been loving the drier weather and were so excited to enjoy more time outside during activity time. They shared their ideas about what they wanted to do, and it was wonderful to see them so engaged, imaginative and happy in their play. From creating, building and exploring to working together and chatting with friends, the children were completely absorbed in their chosen activities. It was such a lovely reminder of how powerful child-led play is for learning and wellbeing.

You can build on this by giving your child time to choose their own play and talk about what they are doing.

• Who did you play with?
• What was your favourite part?
