Perfecting Our Pencil Grip

We have been working really hard on our pencil grip and handwriting. Every Tuesday we have a special focus on how we hold our pencils and practise our pencil control. For the rest of the week, we concentrate on forming our letters carefully and neatly.

We use a fun phrase to help us remember: “We pinch it, we flip it and that’s how we grip it!” It really helps us to hold our pencils correctly. Why not ask us at home to show you our amazing pencil grip and handwriting?
