Term 2 Debate - Team Hayzelden
This week we have debated the question 'Does money make you happy?'
In our oracy lesson, we focussed on developing the skill of 'say it again but better'. We talked about how we can use this skill to make our points and explanations clear and concise. We also discussed how to say this politely to each other.
We then used this skill carefully when debating the question 'does money make you happy?'. There were some very interesting thoughts shared, and some people were really trying to extend their thoughts with reasons, evidence and anecdotes to back these up!
