Performing Poetry

The children wrote their own free-verse poems inspired by the book Winter Sleep. They spent time exploring rhythm and thinking about how their poems should sound when performed. After practising their delivery, they finished by performing their poems with confidence and creativity. I was particularly impressed with the way children used their bodies and voices to express themselves!
