Welcome!

Hi everyone!

I just wanted to say a big warm welcome to all of you as we get ready to start this new adventure together. I’m so excited to be your child’s teacher this year, and I can’t wait to get to know each and every one of them (and you!) properly.

We’ve got our three transition days coming up—tomorrow, Thursday and Friday—and I’m really looking forward to them. These days are all about helping the children settle in, get used to the classroom and start to feel confident and happy in their new environment. There’ll be plenty of fun, some gentle routines, and lots of chances for them to explore and feel at home.

It’s completely normal for there to be a few nerves (from children and parents!), but we’ll take things slowly and make sure everyone feels supported. Please do come and say hello if you haven’t already—I’m always happy to chat or answer any questions you might have.
