Our Week of Wonder and Discovery!

It’s been another busy and exciting week in class, full of curiosity, creativity, and clever thinking!

➕ Maths Magic

We wrapped up our unit on addition and subtraction with a rather tricky end-of-unit test — but the children rose to the challenge brilliantly! They showed great problem-solving skills and confidence using everything they’ve learned. Well done, mathematicians! 👏
Next week, we’ll be exploring area, so get ready for some measuring fun!

📖 English Adventures

In English, we’ve been detectives as we delved deeper into our book Red in the City. The children have been using their inference skills to explore how Red might be feeling and have written some beautifully emotive diary entries about her big adventure into the bustling city. Their writing has been full of imagination and heart — fantastic work!

💡 Electrifying Topic Learning

Our Topic lessons have been full of sparks — quite literally! We’ve been learning about the different uses of electricity, how to spot electrical dangers, and even researching famous electrical inventions that have changed the world.
Perhaps this weekend, you could ask your child to take a look around the house and see if they can spot any electrical dangers (safely, of course!). ⚠️
