We love seeing the fantastic progress our children are making with their reading, spelling, and times tables! To keep this going, we’d like to remind everyone of a few important routines to support learning at home:
📚 Reading:
Please encourage your child to read at home every day. Reading regularly helps build confidence, fluency, and a love of books. Don’t forget to fill in the reading record and bring it into school every Monday so we can celebrate their efforts.
💡 Times Tables Rock Stars (TTRS):
A few minutes of practice on TTRS each day makes a big difference! Quick recall of times tables supports all areas of maths learning, so please try to log in and play regularly.
✏️ Spellings:
Children will bring home their weekly spellings to practise. Please help them go over these words during the week so they’re ready for their spelling test on Friday.
