3, 6, 9...

Continuing our timetable journey

Today we explored the 3, 6, and 9 times tables. We noticed lots of patterns and connections between them — for example, the 6 times table is double the 3 times table, and the 9 times table follows a special pattern in the digits! We used what we already knew to help us solve tricky problems more quickly and to find clever ways to work out new answers. Learning about these links helped us become more confident and efficient with our multiplication.
