We had a brilliant time celebrating Number Day with lots of fun maths challenges that really got everyone thinking.
The children explored patterns and combinations in the How Many Colours? hexagon activity and tackled visual problems such as Tony’s Ice Creams, where they had to think carefully and explain their ideas.
They also enjoyed spotting patterns and rules in the Odd One Out challenge, using logic to solve the Birthday Presents problem, and finding all the possible outcomes in the Half-Time Scores activity. Maybe ask me what puzzles I solved today?
It was great to see the children so engaged, working together, and enjoying the challenge of problem-solving throughout the day.
