Our term 1 reflections
The first term of Year 5 is almost over! Team Godwin were asked to reflect on their favourite moments of Year 5 so far- see below for some of their responses!
Elias- 'I really liked playing the Fairtrade orange game as part of our Global Trade learning in Topic- it taught me that people have a much harder life than us and to not take stuff for granted. Also, I feel like since we mixed the classes, everybody has been really kind and I have made loads of new friends'.
Aaliyah (following on about the Fairtrade orange game)- 'We're not always going to get money from our parents so we learned about responsibilities we will have when we are older. Also, my friend group has expanded this year!'.
Maxwell- 'I have liked doing the ROAR project. I have enjoyed the struggle of designing and fixing problems as they have happened.'
Grace- 'I was thinking the worst about the classes mixing but my class have taught me how to be sensible. Also, in maths, I have loved learning about multiples. I feel like after finding maths quite difficult, I am starting to do really well.'
