We hope that you all had a fabulous Summer and are ready to embark upon a new academic year! Welcome to Year 6...
These blog posts will try to focus on sharing with parents and carers the learning that takes place in the classroom. Key information regarding visits, events and other changes to the normal routine will all be issued by the office through MCAS - so please ensure your contact details are up-to-date.
For the first week back, we will be under-taking our Personal Development week and looking at Place Value in maths.
Our PE lessons will usually be on a Monday, starting next week. On Wednesday afternoons, during the Arts Curriculum, Team Williams have got swimming - this will start on the first Wednesday back.
The arts curriculum will run as follows:
Monday - PE and Drama
Tuesday - Musical Theatre and Dance
Wednesday - Swimming
Thursday - Art and Music
Please ensure the children come dressed in appropriate clothing on PE and Dance days. No bright colours or big logos please.
On Friday afternoon at 2:30, there is a Parent Welcome meeting in the Year 6 classroom. In this, we will go through the topics that will be covered, our timetable and general information.
