Place Value

For this, we have explored different ways in which numbers can be represented, such as place value counters, part-part-whole models, in digits or words. We have emphasised the different place value columns and that where digits are, help inform us of their value. Additionally, we have compared and ordered numbers using the greater than or less than symbols and vocabulary such as ascending and descending.

Next week we shall continue with some of these themes and how they can help us to round numbers.
